Position Overview
As a Treasury Solutions (TS) Sales Associate, you will have overall accountability to provide sales support for new and existing clients across an assigned territory in order to drive revenue growth and retention. This role is heavily focused on enabling Corporate Payment Consultants (CPCs) and Strategic Account Managers to remain client-facing and revenue-focused by managing pipeline development, sales execution, and client support activities.
Primary responsibilities include preparing sales presentations, RFPs, pricing, setup documentation, demos, and portfolio/pricing maintenance, while also supporting cross-sell efforts for Commercial Card solutions within existing bank clients. This is a developmental role designed to lead to a full sales position.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work closely with assigned Treasury Solutions Sales Representatives (CPCs) to independently manage and execute all sales support activities, enabling focus on new business generation
- Own pipeline development for cross-sell opportunities, specifically targeting clients with lending or deposit relationships but no Commercial Card penetration
- Partner with Relationship Managers (RMs) and Treasury Relationship Managers (TRMs) to originate and advance opportunities across key markets (Southeast, Mid-Atlantic/Midwest, Northeast/NYC, Government, Private Banking)
- Create sales presentations, pitch materials, and supporting collateral packages in a timely manner
- Conduct client and industry research to inform sales strategy and identify opportunities
- Prepare responses to RFPs, including standard responses and supporting RFP Coordinator on nonstandard submissions
- Develop pricing proformas and partner with Sales and Pricing teams to manage pricing strategies, including annual increases and maintenance of exception pricing
- Process rebates and fee waivers in accordance with internal policies
- Assist with onboarding execution and support product positioning (Commercial Card, Payables solutions, partnerships such as Paymode-X)
- Attend joint client calls with Sales Representatives to gain exposure to client interactions and build relationships
- Deliver product demonstrations independently, as needed
- Support clients with billing inquiries and issue resolution
- Act as an integral member of the client deal and relationship team to minimize attrition within the existing portfolio
- Proactively partner with Sales and Implementation Managers to transition closed deals into implementation
- Support strategic initiatives including pipeline tracking, lead assignment, CRM discipline, and performance reporting
- Provide guidance to the team and mentor junior TS Associates
Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in banking, treasury services, payments, or sales support
- Strong analytical skills, including pricing and financial analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Commercial Card, Payments, or Treasury Management
- Familiarity with RFP processes, pricing strategy, and deal structuring
- Exposure to commercial or corporate banking client coverage models
- Knowledge of payables and digital payment solutions (e.g., Paymode-X)
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority
- Prior experience in a client-facing or sales support role

Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the budget, work location, and relevant skills and experience.
