Accountabilities:

    • Lead post-silicon bring-up, characterization, qualification, and productization efforts from first silicon through mass production readiness.
    • Develop and optimize wafer sort and final test strategies to improve yield, power efficiency, product quality, and manufacturing performance.
    • Create, debug, and maintain automated test programs and production screening methodologies for advanced-node ASICs.
    • Define and execute characterization plans across process, voltage, and temperature conditions while driving data-based optimization initiatives.
    • Analyze silicon data from multiple platforms, including ATE, bench testing, and system environments, to improve correlation and identify root causes.
    • Coordinate design of experiments (DOE), process tuning initiatives, and system-level performance optimization activities.
    • Partner closely with design, firmware, reliability, manufacturing, foundry, and OSAT teams to support qualification and production scaling.
    • Develop dashboards and KPI frameworks to monitor yield, process variation, performance metrics, and overall product quality.
    • Requirements

      • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
      • 5–10 years of experience in Product Engineering, Test Engineering, Silicon Validation, or Post-Silicon Engineering within semiconductor environments.
      • Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing flows, including wafer sort, final test, qualification processes, and high-volume manufacturing.
      • Hands-on experience with silicon bring-up, characterization, yield analysis, and qualification of ASICs or SoCs.
      • Experience working with ATE platforms such as Advantest 93K, Chroma, or equivalent systems.
      • Proficiency with statistical analysis and debugging tools such as Python, JMP, or similar frameworks.
      • Strong knowledge of DOE methodologies, silicon correlation techniques, and yield optimization strategies.
      • Familiarity with semiconductor device physics, advanced process technologies, and system-level characterization methodologies is considered an asset.
      • Experience with scripting and automation tools such as Python, Perl, or TCL is desirable.
      • Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to operate effectively in fast-moving and ambiguous environments.
