Accountabilities:
- Evaluate, validate, and maintain data elements, codes, and business rules to ensure accuracy and consistency across enterprise systems.
- Analyze proposed data definitions and ensure they are technically correct, clearly documented, and aligned with business processes.
- Support the development and implementation of data strategies, governance policies, and standards across defense systems.
- Collect and interpret business and data requirements to support data architecture and enterprise information needs.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of data management capabilities including metadata, master data, and data quality frameworks.
- Participate in reviewing and coordinating updates to data vocabularies, policies, and standards used across federal systems.
- Support enterprise data integration efforts, including relational databases, data warehousing, and structured data models.
- 10+ years of experience in data analysis, data governance, or related technical/data-focused roles within complex enterprise environments.
- Strong experience supporting data standards, policy review, and coordination of data elements within large-scale organizations or government systems.
- Deep knowledge of data management technologies and standards such as SQL, XML, XSD, metadata registries, and data dictionaries.
- Experience with enterprise data frameworks including Master Data Management (MDM), data warehousing, and data integration concepts.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture and defense-related data standards, including ASC X12 and related frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data structures and requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience documenting technical data standards.
- Must possess or be eligible for IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance (Tier 3).
- Experience representing organizational interests in data standards governance processes is highly preferred.
- Salary range: $95,000 – $140,000 annually
