As a Planning Executive you'll report to Manufacturing Director, SEA.
Main Responsibilities
Plan and generate effective daily and weekly schedules for production to meet customer requirement.
Monitor and work closely with Operation team on production status and determine action plan in the event of deviation. Collaborate with Operation to identify capacity constraints and remedy bottlenecks in the process.
To develop a Monthly Build Plan based on Demand, Orders On Hand and Safety Stock requirement and to identify RM shortages as part of the Sales & Operations Planning process
Work with Demand Managers to plan production according to the Business priorities and also to meet the Demand Plan and Safety Stock agreements with the Business Units
Maintain high level of customer service to external and internal customers. Determine batch sizes and safety stock strategies to provide good customer service through OTIF while minimizing working capital.
The Planning Executive setup and maintain the MRP rules for new and existing products in the supporting Business System application.
You will shall take on projects that result in improved procedures or the implementation of benchmark practices and new ideas in line with the company objectives. Process reviews include procedures and the supporting Business System application (Oracle…)
To supervise, guide and develop Junior Planners to maintain a succession level in Planning Department
Work with Demand and Technical team to plan rework of SSPL lots and other RA material.
To participate in the annual Stock Count activity
Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Production Planning
Experience in Operations or Supply Chain Management, both theoretical and practical understanding of MRP and CRP.
