The role is responsible for undertaking a variety of claims support services and ensuring that the desired quality and service levels are met at all times.
The purpose of this role is to support the Head of Claims Performance and Delegated Authority in overseeing and managing claims performance, as well as providing operational administration, delegated authority management, project support, and data/MI reporting.
Your Tasks:
• Work with the Head of Claims Performance and Delegated Authority to deliver MI, performance analysis and insight across the Claims portfolio handled by the in-house Claims team and our outsource partners.
• Assist with onboarding, due diligence, audit, and ongoing management of Third Party Claims Administrators who we outsource claims handling to.
• Assist with ensuring the accuracy and completeness of bordereaux processing of claims bordereaux using our bordereaux management system.
• Support with the delivery of data for management reporting, internal & external audits and claims regulatory information, as required.
• Drive data quality assurance and performance monitoring for the Claims function by overseeing work of our key BPO provider.
• Handle the processing of manual claims information received from brokers and clients and ensuring timely settlement.
• Collaborate with the Underwriting Operations team in order to timely and accurately process the overall net statement results.
• Maintain appropriate files, including complete documentation and notes as well as record of diary and static claims management.
Work with the Head of Claims Performance to support with projects including:
• Exploring the use of robotics and automation to enhance processes and reduce manual administration.
• Assist with the review of new Insurtech systems and solutions that could enhance claims management capabilities.
• Involvement in market change programs such as Blueprint 2 Future at Lloyd’s work.
Experience Required:
• At least 2 year of experience working within a commercial (re)insurance carrier or delegated authorities or other insurance and reinsurance lines of business.
Your skills:
• Relevant (re)insurance industry experience, specifically within the Underwriting and Claims Community
• Ability to read and understand the content of (re)insurance contract documentation
• Ability to monitor bordereau and liaise with third parties in order to ensure receipt where these have not been provided
• Proven ability to prioritize and organize effectively
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to solve problems and identify practical solutions
• Proven ability to work with speed and accuracy, particularly under pressure
• Proven experience of building and maintaining good working relationships
Nice to have:
• Good understanding of how the bureau services provided by DXC operate
• Understanding of bordereaux mapping and systems used to collate delegated data
Salary starts at 1800 EUR and may vary based on your seniority level, skills, and experience.
