Roles & Responsibilities
- Authoring test cases
- Creation of test data to support test case execution and supports creation and maintenance of libraries of reusable test data sets
- Executes test cases and logs/retests issues found
- Reviewing requirements specifications for testability and verifying traceability of testing to requirements and vice-versa
- Reports status, progress and concerns in a proactive, consistent and accurate manner to IT Project Manager.
- Knowledge and understanding of system and project testing strategies/approaches and the CSV (Computer System Validation) and SLC (Software Life Cycle) processes adopted by Quintiles
- Keeps current on software applications testing industry knowledge and acquiring industry computer validation systems knowledge by attending industry conferences, reading industry periodicals and training via workshop attendance and self-study.
- Performs other duties as required
- Exposure to SQL queries authoring at basic level and understanding of Database concepts.
- Assists in internal peer reviews of test cases from other Analysts prior to and following execution as required to ensure issues/errors with the test scripts are identified and resolved
- Possess a working understanding of the requirements elicitation, analysis, and specification process including user requirement specifications and functional specifications.
- Knowledge of Healthcare industry standards is desirable especially CFR Part 21, GCP, Electronic Data Capture.
