Management Analyst

This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). As a Management Analyst, GS-0343-13, you will perform a variety of complex management analysis assignments and will apply qualitative and quantitative methods to the analysis and evaluation of administrative operations, organizations, and management practices to determine efficiency and effectiveness. Analyze and evaluate the management practices and methods, and administrative operations of substantive organizations and complex functions. Identify and analyze issues, problems, and challenges facing the organization. Conduct data gathering using techniques such as quantitative analysis, surveys, interviews, research, etc., to justify proposals. Formulate and recommend additional policies and procedures or modifications to existing guidance to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of managerial operations. Develop implementation plans with milestones, timetables, audit trails, and evaluation procedures.
