About the role

We are seeking a motivated and organized Project Manager to support the development and delivery of Silicon Photonics products.
 
The ideal candidate has a technical background in semiconductor manufacturing or silicon processes and is skilled at coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. This role requires strong planning, communication and execution skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive progress across engineering, operations, and manufacturing teams. The successful candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented and capable of influencing stakeholders and moving projects forward without direct managerial authority.
 
Experience in photonics, optics, hardware, or mechanical engineering environments is an advantage. The candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced technology organization and have a proven ability to deliver results through effective coordination, follow-up, and teamwork.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • 5–10 years of experience in an engineering, operations, or project management role within the semiconductor, photonics, or related technology industry.
  • Experience coordinating or managing technical projects in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
  • Background in silicon process technologies, semiconductor manufacturing, fabrication, or related areas.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop clear work plans, track progress and drive execution to meet project objectives.
  • Proven ability to influence and coordinate cross-functional teams without direct managerial authority.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented and results-driven.
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in Silicon Photonics, semiconductor, or related high-tech product development environments.
  • Background in silicon process technologies; experience with optics, photonics, or optical communication systems is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, testing, manufacturing processes and product development lifecycles.
  • Hardware and/or mechanical engineering background- advantage.
  • Understanding of semiconductor development, manufacturing and qualification processes.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage Silicon Photonics development projects from planning through execution.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and action-item tracking.
  • Work closely with engineering teams including process, design, testing, packaging, and manufacturing to support project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and help resolve issues that may impact schedules or deliverables.
  • Organize and lead project meetings, document decisions, and follow up on action items.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and key updates to stakeholders and management.
  • Ensure alignment and effective communication between internal teams and external partners when required.
  • Drive execution and accountability across cross-functional teams without direct managerial authority.
  • Support multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
  • Help establish project plans and ensure activities are completed according to schedule.
