As a Food & Beverage Waiter, you’re not just providing food and drink service – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
As a Hostess, you are responsible for serving guests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. A Hostess will also be required to have extensive knowledge of menu offerings. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Meet and greet guests as they arrive, offer choice of seating, then escort them to their table and present menu.
Full control of the guest flow including guest with reservation, walk-ins, waiting list , table plan and seating
Read, maintain, and make daily entry to the reservation to coordinate communication between shifts and management.
Maintain proper set-up of dining room based on the reservation and guest flow.
Receive, record, and make any necessary arrangements for reservations and special functions in the restaurant.
Conduct daily briefings to keep staff informed of current promotions, daily specials, guest comments, daily events and pertinent memos.
Manage guest queries in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner
Ensure knowledge of menu and all products
Follow correct reporting procedures if faced with issues
Practice Hilton Grooming standards including uniform dress code, cleanliness and personal hygiene
Assists callers courteously and promptly, taking messages as necessary which are legible and accurate passing them on to the appropriate person without delay
Has a good knowledge of the restaurant's sitting arrangements
Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
