Schedule: Full-Time | Weekend & On-Call Rotation Required

Schedule
Full-Time
New hires work one weekend day each week
On-call for the alternate weekend day, as scheduled
On-call rotation approximately every 2–3 months
Availability to work two of six paid holidays each year
What You'll Do
As a Veterinary Client Service Representative, you'll help create a welcoming and compassionate experience for clients while supporting the daily operations of our specialty and emergency hospital.
Responsibilities include:
Greet clients and patients with professionalism and compassion
Check patients in and out for appointments
Schedule appointments and recheck visits
Coordinate front desk operations and support hospital workflow
Assist families through the euthanasia paperwork process with empathy and sensitivity
Discuss payment options and process client transactions
Process daily estimates and financial reports
Prepare schedules, maintain medical records, file documents, and complete administrative tasks
Answer incoming phone calls and direct urgent calls to the appropriate clinical team
Coordinate communication between clients, doctors, and veterinary staff
Support student training and mentorship opportunities as needed
Maintain a positive, organized, and client-focused environment
What We're Looking For
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Fluent in spoken and written English
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience as a Veterinary Client Service Representative, Veterinary Receptionist, or Client Service Representative in a veterinary hospital
Experience in an emergency or specialty veterinary hospital
Knowledge of veterinary terminology and hospital workflows
