Accountabilities:

    In this role, you will lead automation testing strategy and execution across multiple platforms while ensuring high-quality software delivery within Agile environments:

    • Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, API, and distributed systems using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar
    • Develop and maintain robust automated test scripts covering functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing
    • Implement API automation frameworks using tools such as REST Assured, Postman/Newman, or equivalent solutions
    • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) to enable continuous testing
    • Perform cross-browser, cross-platform, and end-to-end testing to ensure system reliability and performance
    • Conduct database validation using SQL to ensure data integrity across systems
    • Collaborate closely with developers to identify defects early and improve overall testability of applications
    • Support performance testing efforts using tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or k6
    • Perform root-cause analysis of production issues and drive long-term quality improvements
    • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives while ensuring test strategy alignment
    • Requirements:

      This role requires strong hands-on automation expertise combined with leadership experience in Agile QA environments:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
      • 8+ years of experience in QA with strong focus on automation testing
      • 4+ years of hands-on experience building automation frameworks
      • Strong expertise with Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
      • Experience automating REST APIs and working with API testing tools
      • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC practices
      • Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
      • Solid SQL skills for data validation and backend testing
      • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
      • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
      • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
      • Preferred skills:

        • Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, k6)
        • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for test environments
        • Exposure to cloud testing platforms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs
        • Knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlow
        • Understanding of basic security testing concepts (OWASP principles)
