Accountabilities:
- Design and architect scalable, reliable, and maintainable software solutions using modern engineering principles.
- Develop high-quality, efficient, and well-tested code while promoting strong coding standards and best practices.
- Build and enhance backend services using Java and relevant application frameworks.
- Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Work with cloud-native architectures and microservice-based systems to deliver scalable solutions.
- Make key technical decisions and contribute to system architecture improvements.
- Perform detailed code reviews to maintain quality, identify improvements, and share technical knowledge.
- Investigate and resolve complex technical challenges through innovative and effective solutions.

- 5+ years of professional backend software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Hands-on experience with at least one Java application framework.
- Experience designing and developing scalable applications in production environments.
- Strong understanding of microservice-oriented architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience working with SQL databases and writing optimized SQL queries.
- Knowledge of both relational and non-relational data storage technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, application monitoring, and logging systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced engineering environment.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to contribute to technical discussions and knowledge sharing.
- Experience working with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
