Dietitian (Holistic Health and Fitness)

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This announcement is to recruit for a Dietitian (Holistic Health and Fitness) position located at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Serve as the Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist for an Army brigade sized unit. Deliver individual, group, and unit nutrition services and education to optimize Solder performance, overall unit readiness, and mission success. Work with an interdisciplinary team to communicate and coordinate programming appropriate to the needs of health and injured Soldiers. Conduct assessments to identify nutrition-related concerns of individuals and units. Develop comprehensive performance nutrition programs that improve foundational health and optimize environmental and task-specific performance. Execute and evaluate programs, services, education, and resources for performance enhancement.
