You will be responsible for supporting the development of contract estimates and ensuring their accuracy and competitiveness. This position plays a crucial role in assisting the organization's growth and profitability by providing support in cost analysis, bid strategy, and risk assessment.
- Assist Sales in securing business by developing and driving accurate, timely, compliant, and professional estimate packages for contracts.
- Establish early engagement with Sales team to understand enquiry / RFQ properly to design and estimate suitable solution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and assist in developing cost estimates
- Provide support to solution architect and estimating managers in preparing detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and new technologies related to estimating and support with the rollout of new processes, tools and initiatives.
- Present reports to estimation and business development teams as required.
- Be accountable for the contract estimation and booking process from site data collection to PO receipt.
- Contribute accurate forecasting for all contract whitespace and upsell opportunities
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years experience in the role of Proposals and Estimations.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills and the ability to establish and foster, relationships between various internal customers.
- Experience working on projects that have global impact and dealing with multi-cultural aspects.
- Strong numerical aptitude.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Excel.
- Proficiency in using estimating software and tools.
