As our Senior Manager of Revenue Cycle Operations, you will help support R1’s mission to maximize value to clients as a leader within the Hospital Underpayment Service line.
Every day you will lead large operational teams that contribute to R1 revenue and growth targets. To thrive in this role, you must excel in people management, have excellent time management, organizational and professional skills and be a creative thinker.
Here’s what you will experience working as a Senior Manager of Revenue Cycle Operations:
Own, or play a significant leadership role in support of, large operational strategic service-line initiatives, and oversee subsequent process development or modification
Engage cross-functionally with service line partners, such as CST Centralized Self Pay Team and Client Delivery to push forward department priorities and ensure success of team/service line
Lead Manager peer group, acting as a representative to senior leadership and providing support and guidance to colleagues to execute service line targets and KPIs
Quality Assurance of work product of team
Monitor Service Line KPIs and individual performance metrics utilizing Excel and PowerBI reports and identify trends and operational areas for opportunity to drive strategy .
Required Skills:
Minimum of 5 years of experience, or equivalent experience in hospital billing, resolution, revenue cycle
Recognized as a high performer in current role
Experience working cross functionally with Operations Shared Services, Medicaid and Self Paid
Experience working with Public Funding and Medicaid Eligibility
Advanced skills in new technologies (Power BI, Excel Advance, MS Office)
Education Level
Bachelor's - Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
Experience Level
Minimum of 5 years of experience, including at least 3 years in a management role
