Director of Sales MICE, Hilton Worldwide Sales Asia Pacific
The Director of Sales MICE, Hilton Worldwide Sales Asia Pacific (HWS APAC) will be responsible for initiating and driving the strategic goals for the MICE segment for HWS across APAC to support Hilton’s global portfolio of hotels. You will ensure to achieve their revenue targets by supporting HWS account handlers in growing market share and strengthen customer relationships across the region.
Reporting to the Head of HWS Asia, this position will develop and execute sales strategies and initiatives aligned with Hilton’s broader commercial objectives in the MICE segment.

Directing Activities
Achieve team revenue goals that include building business and driving market share for Hilton
Own, deliver, track and report on Strategic GM&E Plan and Commercial Pillars aligning to segment
Drive a ‘Performance’ mindset to GM&E segment through constant innovation
Lead governance contracting for the region to ensure global alignment with regional variance
Drive industry relations / associations activity and growth across the APAC region
Support the development of strategic solutions to B2B GM&E delivery in conjunction with Loyalty & Marketing team
Work closely with the Head of HWS Asia to align strategies and ensure cohesive execution
Planning Activities
Develop and implement sales plans within the team to meet and exceed performance targets
Lead HWS planning of milestone sales initiatives like Global and International Week of Sales
Provide recommendations based on extensive understanding of the local market and industry trends
Organizing Activities
Coordinate and organize, where appropriate, key regional / global trade shows and FAM trip structures to best support our hotels and customers
Partner with cross-functional colleagues to support strategic projects like, World’s Most Welcoming Events
Lead HWS delivery and execution of milestone sales initiatives like Global and International Week of Sales
Further embed and grow awareness and engagement of the Hilton Incentive Collaborative across APAC region
Support additional functions within the broader sales organisation as appropriate
Monitoring Activities
Monitor and maintain a close, accessible relationship with hotels and other internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and responsiveness
Keep aligned and updated on all segment / competitor trends and insights to better serve our customers and hotels
Ensure compliance with Hilton’s company policies and standards
WHY YOU’LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS)
10+ years of experience, preferably in hospitality sales
Proven leadership experience
Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans
Experience in project management and multi-tasking across varied strategic projects
Experience in facilitation, negotiation, conflict resolution, and a demonstrated ability to impact others through influence and collaboration within a matrixed environment
Ability to analyse data, create compelling business cases, coupled with great influencing skill to present the findings and propose strategic and tactical recommendations to senior leaders
Sensitivity and ability to maintain the privacy and confidentiality of information, protect the assets of the company, act with ethics and integrity, and adhere to the company’s code of conduct and policies and procedures
Up to 25% of travel time and subject to business needs
It would be useful if you have:
Advanced degree
Significant experience working in APAC region, with a deep understanding of regional business practices and cultural nuances
Experience with sizeable revenue diverse customers, and dynamic brands and channels
Relevant sales experience could be a combination of B2B, B2C, or B2B2C
Exposure to franchisee businesses
