For everyone, everywhere.More about our mission and what we offer.Job DescriptionSo, what's the role?We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Treasury Team. Your key responsibilities evolve around the development, implementation and execution of Wise’s Bank Account & Access Management (BAAM) framework so that the risks around bank accounts, user accesses and payment activities are monitored in a secure and SOX control environment. You'll be integral to the daily operations of BAAM, ensuring our processes and controls over bank account and user access management are executed effectively. This is a highly cross-functional position, demanding exceptional collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders, including Payment & Treasury Operations, Risk and Control teams, as well as internal and external auditors.This role will be onsite at our Tallinn office, we operate a hybrid working model and ask employees to be in the office 3 days a week.   What You’ll Be Doing:Together with the Product and Engineering, own the SOX control environment, process and infrastructure for BAAM at Wise Maintain complete and accurate internal records of our counterparties, bank accounts, authorised signatories and user accesses in the relevant systems Work closely with Payment Operations, Treasury, and Banking teams to ensure the effective execution of BAAM processes, acting as the primary point of contact for all BAAM-related mattersReview and ensure timely and appropriate closure of BAAM tickets and requestsCollaborate with Product and Engineering teams to ensure the soundness of our BAAM infrastructure and its overall operating environmentPrepare periodic reporting materials on BAAM operations Support the lead and stakeholder to continuously enhance the BAAM processes to improve its efficiency Keep all BAAM documentation, including user guides, flowcharts, and the risk and control matrix, up-to-date and relevantLiaise with wider stakeholder group to tackle complex situations or new types of products or  implementationTake charge of periodic reviews of accounts, user accesses, and signatories to ensure our records are complete, accurate, and ready for auditLiaise with internal and external auditors to address any audit requests and queriesSupport the Treasury function on other ad-hoc projects related to BAAM areas when requiredQualificationsWhat we are looking for:At least 4 years of proven experience in treasury or audit in SOX control environment, coupled with a solid understanding of risk and control principles in a large and fast paced organisationIn depth understanding of treasury operational risk management, treasury best practices and SOX requirementsExperience in opening & closing bank accounts for an organisation and managing user accesses and authorised signatories, or experience in financial audit or control testing in these areasExperience in managing high number of bank accounts (500+) across different regions and setting up a control governance framework. Skills: A self-starter with the ability to work independently in a self-directed way to thrive in a collaborative, team oriented, and fast-paced environmentCritical thinking with ability to identify potential risks in a given situationGreat attention to detail and problem solving skillStrong organisational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritise and work to meet tight...
