Accountabilities
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned accounts and regional clients, building strong partnerships with agency stakeholders and key decision-makers.
- Develop and execute account strategies focused on increasing agent engagement, production growth, retention, and overall client satisfaction.
- Conduct regular training sessions, workshops, and agency visits to improve product knowledge, adoption of carrier solutions, and best practices among independent agents.
- Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding business relationships through consultative account management.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and internal teams to develop regional growth strategies and improve customer experiences.
- Analyze production data, market trends, and account performance metrics to identify growth opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
- Conduct account reviews, carrier evaluations, and performance assessments while providing insights on market opportunities and service improvements.
- Gather feedback from agents and communicate insights internally to support product enhancements, operational improvements, and stronger customer engagement.
- Maintain strong knowledge of insurance markets, carrier products, commission structures, and appointment processes to effectively support agency growth.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience marketing Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance, preferably working directly with independent agents.
- Proven experience training, developing, and supporting agency teams to improve performance and business outcomes.
- Strong understanding of P&C insurance products, including personal lines, commercial products, homeowners, and personal auto.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large territories, develop strategic relationships, and drive account growth.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage both small groups and large audiences.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, analyze data, and execute regional strategies effectively.
- Ability to evaluate agency qualifications, identify challenges, and recommend solutions to improve production and partnership outcomes.
- Self-motivated problem solver with a customer-focused mindset and the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Competitive base salary ranging from $75,000 to $85,000 plus commission, depending on experience, qualifications, and market factors.
