Accountabilities:
- Lead onsite installation, commissioning, and deployment activities for advanced robotic and automation systems.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and corrective actions to resolve complex technical issues.
- Coordinate installation activities with clients, subcontractors, and multiple trade teams to ensure efficient project execution.
- Calibrate, test, and validate robotic systems to meet operational requirements and performance specifications.
- Interpret and work from complex mechanical, electrical, and control system documentation.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior technicians and field team members.
- Coordinate field resources and support small teams during commissioning activities.
- Communicate technical findings, recommendations, and improvement opportunities to engineering teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, industry standards, and field best practices.
- Travel extensively across the United States and potentially Canada to support customer projects.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical training in Mechatronics, Robotics, Automation, or a related technical discipline.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in robotics, automation, or complex industrial equipment installation.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems integration.
- Experience with industrial networking fundamentals, including BMS and FLS systems.
- Proven ability to lead field teams, coordinate subcontractors, and support onsite operations.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret, update, and maintain technical documentation.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability and willingness to travel 100% of the time across the U.S., with potential travel to Canada.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Preferred certifications include OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, and relevant robotics or safety certifications.
- Preferred experience with robotics fulfillment environments, high-volume operations, or similar industrial automation projects.
- Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is a plus.
- Competitive hourly pay range of $45 - $50 USD, based on experience, education, and qualifications.
