Role Overview
We are looking for a Manufacturing Manager to lead daily production execution in an assembly plant environment. You will guide teams, improve processes, and support line transfers, capacity changes, and operational readiness while using data to drive decisions and results.
What will you do?
Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations to support safety, quality, output, and delivery targets.
Coordinate production planning, staffing, and escalation management across operations, quality, supply chain, engineering, and maintenance.
Support line transfers, process changes, new product introductions, and production ramp-up activities in an assembly environment.
Drive Lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste, improve flow, and strengthen standard work.
Use KPI tracking and data analysis to monitor productivity, process capability, scrap, rework, downtime, and cost performance.
Develop and coach supervisors and team leads to improve execution, problem-solving, and accountability.
Collaborate with technical teams to address process issues and improve manufacturability.
Maintain a strong focus on compliance, housekeeping, and disciplined operating routines on the shop floor.

- Stay close to the work by spending time on the shop floor, understanding constraints firsthand, and removing obstacles quickly for your team.
- Lead with accountability and integrity by setting clear expectations, following through on commitments, and keeping safety at the center of every decision.
- Use facts and data to guide action by reviewing performance trends, identifying root causes, and turning analytics into practical improvements.
- Build momentum through continuous improvement by applying Lean methods, challenging waste, and reinforcing standard work and problem-solving discipline.
- Win as one team by aligning supervisors, operators, engineers, quality, and supply chain around shared priorities and clear communication.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
More than 3 years of experience as a Manufacturing Manager in industrial environments; preferably HVAC/refrigeration.
Strong Lean manufacturing experience, with the ability to apply continuous improvement methods in a plant setting.
Experience supporting assembly plant operations, including line transfers, production changes, or capacity ramp-ups.
Strong data analytics and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret KPIs and make informed decisions (using Power BI, Tableau or related).
Business English proficiency, with the ability to communicate clearly across functions and levels.
Proven ability to lead teams, prioritize work, and manage multiple production priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
Experience with welding processes in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with refrigeration-related manufacturing or assembly processes.
Lean Six Sigma, Green Belt, or White Belt experience.
Experience with takt time, line balancing, bottleneck analysis, 5S, or DMAIC.
Experience working in cross-functional or matrixed organizations.
