What You Will Do
Able to apply Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI), and or Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), and or Ultrasonic Testing (UT), interpret and evaluate for acceptance or rejection and document results in accordance with procedures.
Familiar with the scope and limitations of the methods in which certified and as directed.
Able to navigate the engine manuals and interpret it with the engineering work scopes.
Conduct system performance checks in accordance with applicable process standard.
Set up, standardize, and operate various NDT tooling and equipment, ensuring valid and accurate test results.
Perform routine calibration and servicing of test media and equipment.
Qualifications You Must Have
Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or any other related discipline.
Possess at least 400 hours of performing FPI (Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection)-Aerospace and at least 2 year of experience in dealing with aircraft structures, engines and/or components, or acceptable alternative training or experience.
Possess certification of a current NAS410 / EN4179 / PCN / ASNT or SNT-TC-1A.
Qualifications We Prefer
Candidates with prior NDT experience in Aviation sector is preferred.
Possess good working knowledge of MS Office application (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and possess working knowledge of SAP.
