At Boku, we're powering payments for some of the world's leading digital brands. As we continue to expand our global payments network, we're looking for an experienced payments operations leader to drive operational excellence, transformation, and automation across our Settlements & Payments function.

This is a high-impact role where you'll partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, Treasury, Commercial, and Compliance teams to deliver scalable payment operations, improve operational efficiency, and support the growth of our global business. What you'll be doing

  • Lead global payment operations across settlements, reconciliations, payment processing, and operational readiness.
  • Drive automation and process improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, and operational controls.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to define business requirements for new payment capabilities and operational enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new payment methods, merchants, partners, and market launches.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external payment partners to ensure operational excellence.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce operational risk, and improve the customer and partner experience.
  • Champion continuous improvement while helping shape the future of Boku's global payment operations.

What we're looking for

  • 8+ years' experience in payment operations, settlements, reconciliations, or transaction management within a fintech, PSP, payments, banking, or financial services environment.
  • Strong understanding of payment ecosystems, including digital wallets, local payment methods, account-to-account payments, card payments, or alternative payment methods.
  • Proven experience leading payment operations teams and driving operational excellence.
  • Experience leading or contributing to automation and process transformation initiatives.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence across Product, Engineering, Finance, Treasury, Commercial, and Compliance teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for continuous improvement and delivering scalable solutions.
