Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! As an Assistant Director of Security, and facility safety – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

  • Support safety and security operations: Assist the Director in overseeing all safety and security functions, including ensuring OSHA compliance, promoting safe work practices, and managing department systems, budgets, and policies.
  • Oversee safety training: Assist in leading the coordination and administration of safety training programs, including CPR, fire and life safety, workplace violence prevention, and driver training
  • Ensure property safety: Assist in directing security patrols of the hotel premises to identify and address safety risks, security threats, and undesirable conditions
  • Support investigations: Assist in leading inquiries into accidents, thefts, property loss, and unlawful activities
  • Direct emergency responses: Assist in leading responses to emergencies, including fires, medical incidents, and security threats
  • Liaise with law enforcement: Act as a key contact for federal, state, and local authorities on security-related matters
  • Inspire and develop the team: Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor team members; conduct performance evaluations, provide professional development opportunities, and recognize achievements to build a motivated and high-performing team
