The Supplier Program Manager manages outsourced buyer operations and serves as the primary point of contact for supplier delivery and back-end procurement escalations supporting Intel ATM ramp activities in the APAC region. This role manages, and executes specialized supply chain programs to meet defined business objectives. Responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams and stakeholders, managing project schedules and dependencies, identifying resource needs, tracking program health through quality and timeline indicators, and communicating risks, impacts, and decisions clearly.
The Supplier Program Manager will own supplier procurement operations from forecast through delivery, including supplier quote requests (RFQ) and master data set up to enable capital and supporting items procurement in Intel systems, management of outsourced buyer team on PO placement/ change management for capital equipment and supporting items across a broad range of supplier accounts, and overall management of supplier capacity availability to meet Intel’s site ramp requirements and ensure the stability of our world class manufacturing operations.
This role also monitors supplier performance against delivery, quality, and ramp-specific KPIs, engages directly with suppliers as needed, and provides first-level escalation support for site stakeholders in the APAC region. This is a global role and will require collaboration across multiple teams in different time zones and regions. Advanced English fluency will be required. Early morning and/or later evening meetings may be required.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field and 5 years’ experience in procurement or supply chain management .
- Master’s degree in supply chain management or related field and 3 years’ experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Fluency in English / Advanced English level required (need to be able to effectively communicate, verbal and written). Strong written and verbal communication essential.
- 3+ years Experience with SAP or other Procurement management Systems.
- 2+ years supplier management or commercial negotiation strategy.
- Advanced knowledge of supply chain fundamentals, market dynamics, and risk mitigation strategies.
Preferred Qualifications.
- Demonstrated experience independently solving complex problems across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Strong leadership skills to manage ambiguity and drive results.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities to engage diverse stakeholders, including executive level presentation of information and influencing.
- Knowledge of Semi-conductor manufacturing and procurement requirements.
- Experience with Power BI, Excel, Data Analytics .
- Lean Six Sigma.
