About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

The Experience

We're looking for a Lead Solution Engineer to join the Tableau team at Salesforce. In this role, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor and key partner — translating complex customer business challenges into tailored Tableau and Salesforce solutions. You'll work at the intersection of technology, strategy, and storytelling, helping our most strategic customers unlock value through data and AI-powered analytics.

This is a chance to grow your technical leadership, build executive relationships, and shape how our most strategic customers experience the future of data and AI — all within one of the most innovative teams in enterprise software.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

  • Lead the full solution engineering (SE) cycle — from discovery through close — in collaboration with executives, product specialists, and engineering

  • Design and deliver customized demonstrations that showcase Tableau's data and AI capabilities to both technical and executive audiences

  • Serve as a technical thought leader, articulating the value of Tableau Classic, Tableau Next, Agentforce, and Data360 to drive business transformation

  • Drive executive-level engagement through live demos, points of view (POVs), and strategic thought leadership in 1:1 and broader forum settings

You're Our Person If...

  • You have experience in solution engineering, pre-sales consulting, enterprise software delivery, or customer success

  • You have hands-on experience with Tableau, Salesforce, or comparable analytics/CRM (Customer Relationship Management) platforms

  • You can lead discovery sessions, understand complex institutional challenges, and craft tailored solutions

  • You communicate clearly across audiences — from data analysts to C-suite executives

  • A related technical degree required

Even Better If...

  • You hold Salesforce and/or Tableau certifications (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist, Salesforce Administrator, Data Cloud, AI certifications)

  • You have practical experience with CRMA (CRM Analytics), Agentforce, Data360/Data Cloud, and AI/ML concepts including LLMs (Large Language Models) and generative AI

  • You have a track record of executive-level engagement and influence

  • You're familiar with semantic data modeling and data pipeline architectures

Unleash Your Potential

When you join Salesforce, you’ll be limitless in all areas of your life. Our benefits and resources support you to find balance and be your best, and our AI agents accelerate your impact so you can do your best. Together, we’ll bring the power of Agentforce to organizations of all sizes and deliver amazing experiences that customers love. Apply today to not only shape the future — but to redefine what’s possible — for yourself, for AI, and the world.
