Senior Executive Support Specialist, Investments – 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Investments team at Mercer. This role will be based in Sydney. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

You will provide high-level executive support to the Mercer Pacific Chief Investment Officer and the Investment Leadership Team, helping keep priorities moving and the CIO office running smoothly. You will also coordinate a small team of team assistants, support leadership activities and contribute to internal functions, stakeholder engagement and strategic projects.

We will count on you to:

  • Provide high-level executive, administrative and operational support to the Pacific CIO and Investment Leadership Team
  • Manage complex diaries, communications, meeting preparation, travel and expense arrangements with accuracy and discretion
  • Coordinate stakeholder meetings, internal events and occasional client functions, including logistics, materials and follow-up actions
  • Oversee and support a small team of team assistants, helping to allocate work and maintain consistent administrative standards
  • Contribute to leadership initiatives, strategic projects, minutes, action tracking and governance records

What you need to have:

  • Significant experience supporting senior executives, including C-suite leaders in a large, confidential environment
  • Proven capability in managing competing priorities, complex schedules and multiple high-priority tasks with excellent attention to detail
  • Well-developed communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work professionally across all levels of the organisation
  • Experience using Microsoft 365, digital collaboration tools and document management systems, together with sound judgement and discretion
