The Associate Director, Product Management, IQVIA Digital, leads product execution for AIMXR’s identity‑resolution and contextual intelligence capabilities. This role manages a team of Product Owners, each responsible for a defined feature set, and partners closely with Product Managers (PMs) to implement the product strategy they define. You will translate strategic direction into prioritized outcomes, maintain high‑quality backlogs, and guide cross‑functional teams (engineering, data science, UX, privacy, and go‑to‑market) to deliver customer value at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

  • Develop and coach Product Owners, each owning a distinct set of features within AIMXR.
  • Establish clear goals, operating rhythms, and delivery standards for the PO team (definition of ready/done, acceptance criteria, discovery cadences).
  • Ensure consistency in requirements quality, backlog hygiene, and release readiness across feature areas.
  • Promote a culture of customer empathy, measurable outcomes, and continuous improvement.

Strategy Implementation & Planning:

  • Partner with PMs to understand market problems, target segments, and outcome goals; convert PM‑defined strategy into executable product plans (epics, features, releases).
  • Contribute actionable input during planning (risks, dependencies, sequencing) while keeping alignment with PM‑owned strategy and prioritization.
  • Translate business objectives into clear success metrics and acceptance criteria for delivery teams.

Roadmap & Backlog Ownership:

  • Own near‑ and mid‑term roadmaps for assigned AIMXR components; maintain transparent views of scope, dependencies, and release timing.
  • Lead backlog refinement, story mapping, and estimation with engineering; ensure stories are testable, valuable, and trace to outcomes.
  • Make day‑to‑day tradeoffs on scope and sequencing to protect delivery dates and quality, escalating strategic reprioritization decisions to PMs as appropriate.

Cross‑Functional Delivery:

  • Partner with engineering, data science, and architecture to shepherd features from discovery through GA; clarify requirements, edge cases, and non‑functional needs.
  • Coordinate with privacy/governance partners to incorporate compliance requirements into definitions of done.
  • Align with documentation, enablement, and GTM teams to ensure feature readiness (release notes, guides, training materials, and internal demos).

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Serve as a senior product point‑of‑contact for internal stakeholders and select client conversations to explain capability behavior, roadmap intent, and release plans.
  • Collect feedback from users, delivery, and support teams; synthesize into user stories and backlog updates.
  • Validate outcomes post‑launch via telemetry and customer feedback, and feed learnings back into PM‑owned strategy discussions.

Measurement & Continuous Improvement:

  • Define and track feature‑level KPIs (adoption, utilization, performance, quality).
  • Run lightweight experiments and A/B validations where applicable; socialize results and next steps.
  • Improve team flow (lead time, throughput, predictability) and strengthen discovery/delivery practices across your PO team.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • To be eligible for this position, you must reside in the same country where the job is located.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • US Remote with approximately 10% travel required.
  • Experience working with enterprise life sciences and pharmaceutical customers or regulated data products.
  • 7+ years’ experience as a Product Owner/Senior PO (or equivalent PM role) delivering software/data products at scale with demonstrated success managing and developing Product Owners or similar IC product roles.
  • Strong backlog management, story writing, and acceptance‑criteria discipline; expert in agile/lean delivery practices.
  • Product marketing experience, preferably in AdTech, MarTech, or digital marketing solutions, with exposure to healthcare/life sciences marketing.
  • Proven ability to partner with PMs: executing against strategy, flagging risks, and translating outcomes into releasable increments.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills across engineering, data, UX, privacy, and customer‑facing teams.
  • Experience with audience segmentation and targeting products, behavioral data, or digital engagement signals, AI/ML, or predictive modeling (practical application vs theory)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with large‑scale data/analytics platforms, identity resolution, or contextual intelligence.
  • CSPO / CSPM certification for agile/scrum, preferred.
  • Familiarity with cloud data stacks (e.g., AWS, Snowflake) and data governance/privacy considerations.
