Accountabilities:
- Manage existing product features and support the delivery of new initiatives aligned with the product roadmap.
- Define product requirements, specifications, workflows, and design considerations for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
- Conduct customer interviews, market research, competitive analysis, and industry research to identify product opportunities.
- Translate customer feedback and business needs into actionable insights for product development.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prioritize enhancements, resolve issues, and ensure projects are delivered on schedule.
- Lead product and development meetings, track progress, and proactively address blockers.
- Create project scopes, product descriptions, business requirements, workflows, and supporting documentation.
- Participate in testing activities to validate product functionality, usability, integrations, and overall user experience.
- Support internal and external product training sessions, demonstrations, knowledge base articles, and release notes.
- Maintain product documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of SaaS solutions.
- Work closely with QA teams to define testing approaches, document solutions, and validate business cases.
- Use product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, and service desk platforms to monitor progress and improve workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting processes, business operations, inventory management, and ERP workflows.
- Proven experience in product ownership, project management, or software delivery environments.
- Ability to gather requirements, define priorities, and manage projects from concept through implementation.
- Experience conducting market research, competitive analysis, and customer discovery sessions.
- Strong understanding of software development processes, web technologies, and SaaS product environments.
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to understand user needs and apply UX principles to create intuitive solutions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience working with distributed teams across different cultures and time zones.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Asana, Slack, Zoho Desk, or similar product management and collaboration tools is preferred.
- Experience working with SaaS, cloud applications, accounting software, or business management platforms is highly desirable.
