Accountabilities:

    As a Senior Product Owner, you will bridge the gap between customers, business teams, and engineering by turning complex requirements into clear product strategies and actionable development plans. You will contribute to product evolution by identifying opportunities, managing priorities, and ensuring successful delivery of features and improvements.

    • Manage existing product features and support the delivery of new initiatives aligned with the product roadmap.
    • Define product requirements, specifications, workflows, and design considerations for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
    • Conduct customer interviews, market research, competitive analysis, and industry research to identify product opportunities.
    • Translate customer feedback and business needs into actionable insights for product development.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to prioritize enhancements, resolve issues, and ensure projects are delivered on schedule.
    • Lead product and development meetings, track progress, and proactively address blockers.
    • Create project scopes, product descriptions, business requirements, workflows, and supporting documentation.
    • Participate in testing activities to validate product functionality, usability, integrations, and overall user experience.
    • Support internal and external product training sessions, demonstrations, knowledge base articles, and release notes.
    • Maintain product documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of SaaS solutions.
    • Work closely with QA teams to define testing approaches, document solutions, and validate business cases.
    • Use product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, and service desk platforms to monitor progress and improve workflows.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting, ERP software, and product ownership, with the ability to combine business expertise, technical understanding, and customer empathy. You should be comfortable working independently in a remote environment while collaborating with globally distributed teams.

      • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, with at least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
      • Strong understanding of accounting processes, business operations, inventory management, and ERP workflows.
      • Proven experience in product ownership, project management, or software delivery environments.
      • Ability to gather requirements, define priorities, and manage projects from concept through implementation.
      • Experience conducting market research, competitive analysis, and customer discovery sessions.
      • Strong understanding of software development processes, web technologies, and SaaS product environments.
      • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
      • Ability to understand user needs and apply UX principles to create intuitive solutions.
      • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
      • Experience working with distributed teams across different cultures and time zones.
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
      • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Asana, Slack, Zoho Desk, or similar product management and collaboration tools is preferred.
      • Experience working with SaaS, cloud applications, accounting software, or business management platforms is highly desirable.
