As Business Development Manager – Cyber, you will be responsible for creating new business opportunities and expanding Kordia’s cyber security footprint across key market sectors. Focusing on government, critical infrastructure and enterprise customers, you’ll identify opportunities, build strong prospect relationships and convert market demand into sustainable revenue growth.
Reporting directly into our Executive General Manager Cyber, Cloud and Connectivity, this is a role for a proactive and commercially driven business developer who enjoys opening doors, shaping opportunities and building momentum. Working closely with Account Managers, Product, Pre-Sales and Professional Services teams, you’ll connect customer challenges with Kordia’s cyber security capabilities, helping organisations strengthen their resilience in an increasingly complex threat landscape.
Success in this role will be measured by your ability to generate qualified pipeline, convert opportunities and deliver new revenue growth across Kordia’s cyber security portfolio.
Ko tō mahi – What you will do
- Develop and execute new business development strategies across agreed target markets and customer segments
- Identify, qualify and build a pipeline of opportunities for cyber managed services, professional services, advisory and resilience solutions
- Engage prospective customers to understand business challenges, cyber risks and strategic priorities
- Shape early-stage opportunities and build commercial momentum through to handover or contract close
- Work closely with Account Managers, Product, Pre-Sales and Professional Services teams to develop compelling customer solutions
- Build trusted relationships with decision-makers and influencers across government, enterprise and critical infrastructure organisations
- Maintain disciplined pipeline management, forecasting and reporting activities
- Provide market intelligence, customer insights and feedback to support business growth and proposition development

- Proven success in business development, sales or growth-focused roles within technology, cyber security, telecommunications or related industries
- Demonstrated ability to generate pipeline, win new business and achieve revenue growth targets
- Strong prospecting, networking and relationship-building skills
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers within enterprise, government or critical infrastructure environments
- Commercial acumen, with the ability to identify customer needs and translate them into business opportunities
- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Experience selling managed services, professional services, consulting or technology solutions will be highly regarded
- Knowledge of cyber security services, cyber resilience, risk or security operations would be advantageous
