We are actively looking for a qualified individual to join our Fiduciary Trust Administration Team to fill an open position.  We are actively seeking a driven and professional Trust Officer who thrives in an independent and client service environment.Job Requirements:General Fiduciary Administration:Prepares administrative reviews and assists in the preparation of the investment review when requiredParticipates in fiduciary administrative committeeAbility to multitask, detailed oriented, organized and work under pressureKnowledge of various trust types, income and principal accounting, trust income taxation, GST, trust investments, retirement plans and charitable trustsAdministers a varied number of existing and new personal trust accountsInterprets the governing instrument and applicable state law to ensure trusts are administered according to the terms of the governing instrumentCultivates and maintains ongoing relations with beneficiaries, investment advisors, attorneys, accountants and co-fiduciaries.  Communicates the terms of the trust provisions to relevant parties.Responds to trust client issues, anticipating client needs and preparing for and participating in client meetingsPrepares and presents discretionary distribution requests and makes recommendations to fiduciary committeeWorks with the tax accountants to prepare and file fiduciary tax returnsResponsible for receipts and disbursements for their book of accountsJob Responsibilities:Monitor administrative policies and proceduresReview and analysis of report, statements, policies and proceduresAct as a liaison between vendors, clients and/or other market unitsSupport of client and team needsPerform effectively in a team environmentWhere required, train and mentor other team membersBecome proficient in business application toolsSupport business initiatives, including business continuity and disaster recoveryBe able to function as an individual contributor and make independent decisionsObtain professional certifications where requiredAssist Independent Advisor Solution with sales leads or personal trust presentationsAcquiring system and technical knowledge required to resolve more complex tasksBe able to perform all jobs in the business unitAssume responsibilities or related projectsMaintain current procedures and improve on processPosition Requirements:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education and work experience requiredMinimum of five years of experience in the trust industryCTFA preferred but not requiredSolid understanding of related legal, tax and accounting concepts requiredHigh degree of objectivity and professionalism in management of fiduciary obligationsExceptional written and oral communications skills essentialThis individual will routinely have access to confidential and sensitive information.  A high degree of integrity and trust is a mustOrganizational, time management and analytical skillsInterpersonal and communications skillsMust be willing to work effectively and independently, as well as in a team, in an open-floor environmentSEI’s competitive advantage:To help you stay energized, engaged and inspired, we offer a wide range of benefits including comprehensive care for your physical and mental well-being, a strong retirement plan, tuition reimbursement, a hybrid working environment for most roles, support for working parents and flexible Paid Time Off (PTO) so you can relax, recharge and be there for the people you care about. Benefits include healthcare...
