Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer – ServiceNow Access Requests
Job Requisition Summary
Ensemble seeks an experienced IAM Engineer to support and enhance identity and access management operations with a focus on ServiceNow-based access request workflows, provisioning, and lifecycle automation.
This role is responsible for ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient user access management across enterprise and client systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in ServiceNow request workflows, RBAC, and IAM platform integrations (SailPoint, Entra ID, Workday).
Essential Job Functions
Design, configure, and maintain ServiceNow access request catalog items, workflows, and approval processes
Manage end-to-end access request lifecycle (intake, approval, fulfillment, closure)
Execute and support Joiner–Mover–Leaver (JML) lifecycle processes
Provision, modify, and deprovision access across enterprise systems and client environments
Integrate ServiceNow with IAM platforms (e.g., SailPoint, Entra ID, Active Directory, Workday)
Implement and support Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) models aligned to job roles and attributes
Ensure access requests meet audit, compliance, and SLA requirements
Troubleshoot access provisioning issues and resolve ServiceNow request failures
Support access certifications, audits, and compliance reporting
Collaborate with application owners, security teams, and business stakeholders
Identify opportunities to automate manual provisioning processes and standardize request workflows
Maintain documentation for IAM processes, workflows, and integrations
Job Competencies

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3–7+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management, Security Engineering, or related field
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow (Service Catalog, Access Requests, Workflows)
Experience with IAM platforms (e.g., SailPoint, Okta, Entra ID)
Strong understanding of Identity lifecycle (Joiner, Mover, Leaver)
Strong understanding of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Request, Change)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience integrating ServiceNow with SailPoint and Workday
Experience with ServiceNow Flow Designer, APIs, or Service Bridge integrations
Knowledge of access certification and compliance frameworks (SOX, HITRUST, SOC2)
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Developer (preferred)
This position pays between $84,000 - 126,00 based on experience
Must be inquisitive and demonstrate openness to innovation including AI to explore better processes and ways to alleviate friction and improve patient and client experiences.
This is a remote position; however, candidates must be willing and able to travel to and work onsite at client, temporary, or corporate office locations as business needs require.
