Play a critical role in shaping how our sourcing organization operates, designing scalable solutions, and delivering predictive and proactive insights that enable better, faster decisions across the business. You’ll partner closely with sourcing, planning, technology teams, and cross functional stakeholders to deliver spend analytics and market insights and translate business needs into effective system capabilities. From driving adoption of tools to building forward looking reporting and alerts, your work will directly influence how we anticipate demand, manage risk and complexity, and continuously improve how we operate. This is a rare opportunity to move beyond “running the plan” and instead help design the systems, insights, and ways of working that define how planning happens. Your work will improve visibility, reduce friction, and enable smarter decisions—at scale.As an optimization lead, you will…Lead planning technology evolution by translating business needs into system capabilities, guiding implementations, driving adoption, and partnering with technology teams to ensure tools enable planners effectively. Drive continuous improvement and standardization by identifying enhancement opportunities, delivering prioritized initiatives, and strengthening consistent sourcing processes and best practices across teams. Advance reporting and insights by building sustainable KPI frameworks, proactive alerts, and trusted analytics that improve visibility, decision making, and sourcing/supply chain performance.  We’d love to hear from people with:Advanced Excel – complex formulas, Power Query, pivot tables, data validation, scenario modeling SQL – ability to write and interpret queries to extract, validate, and analyze data from large datasets Sourcing and Supply Chain Systems – hands on experience with enterprise planning tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle, o9, APO, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, or similar) Reporting & BI Tools – experience designing and maintaining dashboards and reports (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent) Data Analysis & Quality Management – identifying data issues, root causes, and working with partners to improve data integrity4 year college degree.As a Starbucks partner, you (and your family) will have access to medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, and other voluntary insurance benefits.
