You will report directly to our Senior Field Service Supervisor and you’ll work out of our Hsinchu, Taiwan location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency, productivity, and safety of our customers' operations by providing exceptional technical support and service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide on-site technical support to customers in industries such as petroleum, smelting, chemical, and high-tech sectors.
- Handle the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of gas detectors.
- Maintain effective communication with customers to ensure high-quality and timely service, resolving any technical issues encountered on-site.
- Document and report on field service activities.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electronic, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of field service or repair experience in a related industry. Experience with gas detectors or similar products is preferred.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in industries such as petroleum and chemical.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively with customers and internal teams.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work independently.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin.
