Logistics & Warehouse Site Supervisor
What you will do
Responsible for supervising the entire lifecycle of inventory, including ordering, receiving, warehousing, and reconciling, along with team members that support these functions. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized individual with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of logistics and inventory management. This position reports directly to the Logistics & Warehouse Site Operations Manager.
How you will do it
Ordering: Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate ordering of filter inventory based on demand forecasts and production schedules.
Receiving: Oversee the receiving process, ensuring all incoming shipments are inspected, verified, and accurately recorded in the inventory system.
Warehousing: Manage the storage of filter inventory, ensuring optimal organization, safety, and accessibility. Implement best practices for inventory control and space utilization.
Reconciliation: Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies. Maintain accurate inventory records and generate reports as needed.
Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply chains and negotiate favorable terms.
Team Leadership: Supervise and train warehouse staff, promoting a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Compliance: Ensure all logistics operations comply with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Performs other duties as required.
What we look for
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent field experience.
Five or more years of experience in operations and maintenance.
Able to program and operate Building Automation Systems.
Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and their operation.
Demonstrated leadership abilities.
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively share information both verbal and written to direct reports, site leadership, and upper management.
Able to manage and train entry-level personnel.
Able to develop and maintain a cohesive team of front-line employees to include performance evaluation, development plans, and conflict resolution should the need arise.
Assist the Manager in writing performance reviews for team members and aid in continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
Able to deal with customers and others at all levels.
Knowledge of JCI procedures and policies.
Must be a team player, committed to working in a safe and quality environment.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $67,900 - 84,900 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
