As the Night Auditor, you are responsible for balancing all daily financial work for the hotel by posting and auditing charges in a timely and efficient manner. Additionally, you will perform Front Desk operations during the overnight shift to ensure an attractive, safe, and welcoming environment for our guests.

Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Punctuality & Reliability: Ability to consistently arrive to work on time and as scheduled for the overnight shift.

  • Technical Skills: Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Excel and the PEP system. Ability to operate a 10-key calculator and standard office equipment.

  • Attention to Detail: High regard for accuracy, data integrity, and a strong analytical approach to problem-solving.

  • Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills; professional demeanor when interacting with guests and all levels of management.

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Auditing: Post and balance all daily hotel revenue. Monitor the automated system posting of room and tax charges.

  • Reconciliation: Reconcile and settle charges from Micros (POS), telephone, movie reports, parking, and gift shop revenue. Process debit/credit card rebates and adjustments.

  • Reporting: Prepare detailed restaurant revenue reports utilizing Excel spreadsheets.

  • Guest Services: Perform all Guest Service Agent duties during the overnight shift, including guest check-ins, check-outs, and addressing inquiries.

  • Team Support: Assist in the ongoing training and development of the front desk staff.

Qualification Standards:

  • Education: High School graduate or equivalent preferred, but not required.

  • Experience: 6 months to 1 year of front desk experience required. General office and/or prior hotel accounting experience is highly preferred.

  • Licenses/Certifications: PEP certification preferred.
