Accountabilities

    • Define and evolve the architectural vision for customer-facing frontend systems, ensuring alignment with long-term business and product strategies.
    • Lead cross-organizational technical initiatives focused on scalability, system boundaries, frontend architecture, and foundational user interface capabilities.
    • Drive frontend engineering excellence by establishing best practices around performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and user experience quality.
    • Create and promote scalable frameworks, patterns, tools, and infrastructure that improve engineering velocity and consistency across teams.
    • Establish technical standards that support secure, reliable, maintainable, observable, and high-quality software solutions.
    • Partner with engineering and product leadership to translate business goals and customer needs into effective technical strategies.
    • Mentor senior engineers and technical leaders, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
    • Lead complex initiatives from strategy through execution by aligning stakeholders, removing blockers, managing risks, and ensuring successful delivery.
    • Use customer insights, performance data, and product feedback to guide technical decisions and improve user experiences.
    • Identify systemic risks and drive investments in reliability, observability, migrations, and sustainable architecture.
    • Champion customer-centric engineering principles by creating scalable solutions that anticipate future user needs.
    • Requirements

      • 12+ years of professional software engineering experience with demonstrated technical leadership at a broad organizational level.
      • Strong expertise with modern frontend technologies and frameworks, including React, Next.js, and GraphQL, with experience building high-performance web applications at scale.
      • Full-stack engineering capabilities with backend experience in technologies such as Node.js and Python.
      • Deep understanding of frontend performance optimization, accessibility standards, and responsive design principles.
      • Experience creating and scaling frontend infrastructure, component libraries, design systems, or shared engineering platforms across multiple teams.
      • Proven ability to define architecture strategies and influence technical direction across engineering and cross-functional organizations.
      • Experience translating customer and product requirements into reliable, maintainable, and scalable technical solutions.
      • Track record of improving developer experience, engineering efficiency, system sustainability, and team execution.
      • Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
      • Ability to navigate complex, ambiguous environments while creating clarity and enabling teams to deliver results.
      • Strong mentorship skills and commitment to developing engineering talent.
      • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to balance immediate delivery needs with long-term platform health.
