General Work I – Raw/Cook
Summary
The General Work I – Raw/Cook employee performs multiple jobs throughout all Raw/Cook production areas to provide relief coverage as needed. This position is responsible for the proper cleaning and sanitizing of plant equipment and production surfaces to ensure compliance with USDA regulations and company standards. The employee is expected to safely use cleaning chemicals, operate production equipment, and maintain flexibility in work schedules, including weekends when required. The employee works under the supervision and direction of the Team Leader.
Essential Functions

Perform multiple job assignments throughout Raw/Cook production areas as needed.
Provide relief coverage for production positions to support operational needs.
Clean and sanitize production equipment and work areas according to USDA and company standards.
Properly use and handle cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines.
Set up and tear down production equipment.
Operate production equipment safely and efficiently.
Move racks and combos throughout the production area.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures.
Work flexible hours and weekends as required.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Team Leader.

Work Environment
Fast-paced manufacturing environment. Employees will spend significant time in production areas and may be exposed to varying temperatures, noise, moisture, and other conditions common to food manufacturing facilities.

Ability to repetitively lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.
Ability to push, pull, and move racks and combos.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks and operate production equipment.
Ability to set up and tear down equipment as required.
Position Type: Full-Time Position
Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
