Accountabilities:

    • Maintain accurate hardware and software asset inventories within the organization's Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
    • Manage the complete lifecycle of IT assets, including onboarding, transfers, updates, and retirement processes.
    • Support configuration management activities by maintaining accurate relationships between infrastructure components and applications.
    • Reconcile asset information across multiple systems to ensure data consistency and integrity.
    • Generate reports and maintain documentation to support operational oversight, audits, and compliance requirements.
    • Assist with software asset management activities, including license tracking and renewal planning.
    • Ensure adherence to federal standards and organizational policies related to asset management, security, accessibility, and reporting.
    • Collaborate with Change Management and Problem Management teams to resolve asset- and configuration-related issues.
    • Requirements:

      • Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT asset management, configuration management, or a related IT operations role.
      • Hands-on experience working with ServiceNow CMDB or similar enterprise asset management platforms.
      • Strong understanding of IT asset lifecycle management and configuration management best practices.
      • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical, reporting, and organizational skills.
      • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a structured, compliance-driven environment.
      • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Public Trust clearance.
      • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field is preferred.
      • Experience supporting federal IT environments, software asset management, DCAM, or compliance reporting is considered an advantage.
      • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
