Skip to main contentOur CompanyOur BusinessSearch for JobsJoin Talent NetworkFAQsProfileEnglishSign InSingle PositionView All JobsAI Customer EngineerShanghai, ChinaApply NowAdd to Job CartFind out how well you match with this jobUpload your resumeJob descriptionCompany and benefitsJob ID3093974Company:Qualcomm ChinaJob Area:Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Software Applications EngineeringGeneral Summary:GENERAL SUMMARY:Work on model optimization techniques such as quantization, pruning, and distillationOptimize models for on-device / edge environments, including performance, accuracy, memory, and latencyCollaborate with system, platform, and application teams to integrate GenAI into productsAnalyze and troubleshoot accuracy, latency, and stability issues in deployed modelsWork closely with customers to enable, optimize, and deploy GenAI/AI solutions on Qualcomm platformsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:3–5 years of experience in AI/ML software development, including large language models (LLMs), model optimization, and deployment.Strong Python/C/C++ programming and debugging skillsBe familiar with modern GenAI and machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, ONNX Runtime, and related deployment toolchains.Hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies, including LLM,VLM, with a solid understanding of inference frameworks.Has solid experience in model quantization(INT8/INT4) and model deployment on on edge device.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex system-level issues.Minimum Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience. ORMaster's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience. ORPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. • 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.• 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with debugging techniques.Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
