We are currently looking for a talented, motivated, and ambitious Senior Architect, who is licensed and experienced in Florida, to join our New York office. You will work closely with Partners, Project Architects, and Managers throughout all project phases - leading or assisting in design development, documentation, team coordination, and construction-phase collaboration. As a Senior Architect, you will report to the Senior Project Manager and Partner in Charge of your project.

Requirements
- A professional degree in Architecture
- 8+ years of architecture experience working on all phases of a single project
- Licensed in Florida, and ideally New York
- Experience with Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, and MS Office
- In-depth knowledge of building codes and construction documentation
- Construction Administration experience, including field observation
Responsibilities
- Defending BIG’s design intent throughout all phases
Managing client relationships and leading communication across clients, consultant teams, project teams, vendors, and permitting officials
Overseeing production of contract documents
Managing and mentoring team members
Providing technical guidance and innovative solutions to complex design and technical challenges
