What You Will Do as a Manager, Global Materials Supply:
The Manager, Global Material Supply (GMS), is responsible for driving the strategic and operational execution of Criticore’s global materials supply strategy. This role partners closely with Supply Chain and Business Leadership teams to develop and maintain an agile, market-responsive materials supply network that delivers optimal cost, quality, service, and speed across all raw material categories.
As a key leader, this position collaborates with Brand Management, Operations, Sourcing, Merchandising, Finance, and Quality teams to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and implement solutions that enhance supply chain performance and support business growth. The GMS Manager also leads strategic supplier relationships, ensuring alignment between GMS strategies, business objectives, and customer requirements while fostering continuous improvement throughout the supply network
How You Will Make a Difference:
- Build and execute a comprehensive material supply strategy, including the development of primary and secondary sources across key material categories.
- Partner with Product Development, Sourcing, and Finance teams to ensure materials meet target cost structures and align with global procurement strategies.
- Lead negotiations and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability, innovation, and cost competitiveness.
- Drive material cost negotiations using fact-based methodologies to achieve target outcomes.
- Lead inventory optimization initiatives to maintain appropriate materials safety stock levels, reduce working capital, and improve supply efficiency. Manage aged and SLOB inventory by implementing proactive mitigation plans, coordinating with brands and sourcing teams to minimize financial exposure.
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on regional cost drivers, market trends, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Develop long- and short-term material supply strategies that consider global spend footprint, lead times, sustainability, profitability, and brand needs.
- Collaborate with business partners on material forecasts, safety stock targets, GTM initiatives, and strategic growth opportunities.
Skills for Success:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in materials management, contract negotiation, or supply chain planning
- Proven leadership experience within a multinational or global environment
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across functions and geographies
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex business challenges and manage diverse stakeholder groups
- Flexibility and willingness to travel globally as needed
