No longer listedThis role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of business-critical systems that support global trade operations, supply chain visibility, and data-driven decision-making.
The ideal candidate will bridge business and technology, working closely with stakeholders across IT, compliance, logistics, and analytics teams to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Applications Support & Operations
- Provide L2/L3 production support for trade compliance systems (e.g., export/import compliance, screening tools) and logistics platforms (e.g., TMS, WMS).
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring adherence to SLAs.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
- Support application upgrades, patches, and release deployments.
Data Management & Governance
- Maintain and support enterprise data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration workflows.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across systems (ERP, logistics, compliance, analytics platforms).
- Implement and enforce data governance policies, including data security, compliance, and lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to optimize data models and data flows.
Analytics & Reporting
- Support and enhance business intelligence (BI) platforms (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for trade compliance, supply chain performance, and operational KPIs.
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable analytics solutions.
- Enable self-service analytics capabilities across functional teams.
Trade Compliance & Regulatory Support
- Support systems handling export controls, sanctions screening, customs filings, and regulatory reporting.
- Ensure applications comply with global trade regulations (e.g., EAR, ITAR, customs regulations).
- Work with compliance teams to implement system changes driven by regulatory updates.
Integration & Automation
- Design and support integrations between ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), logistics platforms, compliance tools, and data warehouses.
- Leverage APIs, middleware, and automation tools to streamline workflows.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve efficiency.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a functional and technical liaison between business and IT teams.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Provide user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 5 - 10+ years of experience in IT systems support, preferably in data, analytics, logistics, or trade compliance domains.
- Strong experience with:
- Data management (SQL, ETL tools, data warehousing concepts)
- BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- Enterprise systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP platforms)
- Experience supporting logistics (TMS/WMS) and/or trade compliance systems.
- Solid understanding of integration technologies (APIs, middleware).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with global trade compliance systems (e.g., SAP GTS, Amber Road/E2open, Descartes).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and data services.
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with Agile or DevOps methodologies.
- Certifications in data analytics, cloud, or enterprise applications are a plus.
