Configuration Management Functional IT Architect (m/f)
Job Description:
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Configuration Management Functional IT Architect (f/m) to join our Digital for Configuration Management department based in Toulouse, France.
You will be part of a team developing PLM digital frameworks and Configuration Management capabilities supporting all Airbus aircraft programs. As part of the DPC organization, you will be involved in defining next generation IT architectures streamlining change processes, and harmonizing legacy software ecosystems aiming at ensuring delivered aircraft definitions strictly match airworthiness and airline specifications.

Your challenges:
Drive IT solution architectures around aircraft customization and change process domains.
Optimize synergies across legacy system landscapes (e.g., ACS Convergence) to reduce overall IT total cost of ownership.
Represent the Product Service Line within the Digital Customization Board to align functional strategies with Enterprise Architects.
Act as a strategic advisor to Product Managers and Product Owners ensuring technical deliveries match functional vision and business goals.
Coach and mentor domain architects, fostering architectural standards and Agile/SAFe best practices.
Your boarding pass:
10 years of proven expertise in Configuration Management, Program Management, and Aircraft Customization workflows.
5 years of experience successfully operating within complex transnational and multicultural environments.
Deep familiarity with enterprise IT landscapes (PLM, ERP, Planning), technical software patterns, and SAFe methodology.
Strong soft skills with a proven talent for influencing senior leadership and translating complex concepts for development teams.
Full professional fluency in English is mandatory (negotiation level) to lead strategy across European and global sites.
