Accountabilities

• Design, develop, test, and release native Android features using Kotlin while maintaining high standards of code quality and application performance.
• Build intuitive mobile workflows for financial services, including payments, insurance, claims, renewals, and other customer-focused experiences.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to simplify complex user journeys and create seamless mobile interactions.
• Integrate backend APIs and ensure mobile experiences remain secure, stable, and reliable across different use cases.
• Optimize application performance by improving crash rates, loading times, responsiveness, memory usage, and overall user experience.
• Analyze user behavior, production insights, and application metrics to continuously improve product quality.
• Develop AI-assisted mobile features when they provide meaningful value and enhance the customer journey.
• Contribute to engineering best practices by writing maintainable code and taking ownership of features from development through delivery.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional Android development experience using Kotlin.
• Strong understanding of Android fundamentals with proven experience delivering production-ready mobile applications.
• Hands-on experience with modern Android development tools and frameworks, including Jetpack Compose, Android SDK, Coroutines, and Flow.
• Good knowledge of modern Android architecture patterns and mobile application design principles.
• Experience integrating REST APIs, debugging production issues, and improving application stability.
• Strong understanding of mobile UX, usability principles, edge cases, and user-centered design.
• Ability to move quickly, take ownership, and maintain high attention to product quality in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and familiarity with TensorFlow Lite or on-device AI inference is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in English with the ability to collaborate effectively with globally distributed teams.
• GitHub repositories, app links, screenshots, or examples of shipped applications are considered a strong advantage.
