Engineering Operations Leader 

Location: Hyderabad, India 
Reporting to: Director – PMO 

About the Role 

We are looking for a highly analytical and metrics-driven Engineering Operations Leader to drive operational excellence, performance tracking, and data-driven decision-making across our engineering organization. This role requires a proactive leader who can partner effectively with local and global stakeholders, uncover insights, and influence business outcomes through strong analytics and communication. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Drive engineering operations performance through rigorous tracking of leading and lagging metrics. Analyze performance trends, identify deviations, risks, and improvement opportunities, and recommend corrective actions. 

  • Work in close collaboration with IA Global PMO & EOPS leaders to drive engineering operations efficiency. Partner with GBE leaders and cross-functional stakeholders (local and global) to align business priorities and execution. 

  • Drive priorities for both HTCS Technology Transformation team and Global EOPS on all HTCS spend, revenue, launches and Accolade Hygiene. 

  • Plan and execute HTS IA India AOP in close collaboration with Honeywell EOPS, Engineering, PMO, Finance, HR, Staffing, SIOP & Operations. 

  • Collaborate with India E4E leader to ensure Accolade data hygiene for revenue reporting. 

  • Proactively identify potential operational challenges and drive mitigation strategies. Drive improvements and resolve systemic issues in Accolade, SAP and Fiori, JIRA etc. in collaboration with Global and Local IT leaders and support teams. 

  • Work with GBE PMO and Engineering at HTS to drive CSW vendor rationalization and feedback monitoring. 

  • Translate complex data into clear, compelling insights and executive-ready presentations (PowerPoint, dashboards). Uphold a culture of data-driven decision-making and operational rigor.  

  • Act as a key liaison between engineering, business, and leadership teams to ensure alignment and transparency. 

Qualifications & Skills 

  • 14+ Years of experience with multi- dimensional exposure in the areas of Engineering Business and Operations Management, Project Engineering/ Program management, Financial/Business acumen, and Data analytics. 

  • Strong analytical mindset with a proven ability to work with metrics and large data sets. Expertise in Power BI (dashboard creation, reporting, and visualization). 

  • Demonstrated experience in engineering operations, program management, or similar roles.  

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, particularly in cross-functional collaboration and facilitation of multi-disciplinary teams. Excellent data storytelling and presentation skills (PowerPoint, executive communication). 

  • Strong stakeholder management experience, including working with global teams. Demonstrated people skills to effectively interact & engage with individuals of all disciplines and levels within and across the organization. 

  • Strategic thinker & problem solver: Able to break large problems into manageable chunks. 

  • Proven ownership mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving. 

  • Ability to ask the right questions, derive insights, and communicate effectively. 

  • Exposure to financial metrics or a finance background is a strong plus.
