LPN - Long Term Care at Providence Child Center.  This posting represents a per diem/on-call, day shift position. Hours offered are 7am-7:30pm including weekends.

Our Long-Term Care unit within the Child Center has a total of 46 beds, serving both pediatric and adult patients.  Each CNA cares for approximately 7 residents on day shift, and 11 on nights.  We care for a unique and diverse population of medically fragile individuals, ranging from children with complex developmental and neurological conditions to adults with chronic illnesses and disabilities. Some of our residents require long-term ventilator support, tracheostomy care, and all require some assistance with activities of daily living. Our team is deeply committed to providing compassionate, resident-centered care in a nurturing environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an approved school for practical nurses.

  • Upon hire: Oregon Licensed Practical Nurse 

  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 

  • 1 year LPN Experience

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training: IV Therapy course and competency demonstration.
