Job Description:

Department Overview:

Business Operations Management (BOM) enables Enterprise Global Technology & Services with financial discipline, operational governance, and clear portfolio and resource management. BOM standardizes and oversees financial recovery, Clarity/JIRA alignment, intake and consulting-engagement approvals, workforce and capacity processes, and colleague communications to ensure consistent, enterprise-wide execution.

Supporting Insurance (TDI) Technology, BOM provides the operational backbone that enables integrated business-technology delivery.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

CUSTOMER

  • Support the development and execution of financial and operational plans for the TDI Technology portfolio.

  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance updates using Excel, Clarity (project financials), and Workday (headcount/compensation data).

  • Prepare dashboards, financial summaries, and analysis using Power BI and Excel-based models.

  • Maintain portfolio reporting packages and operational trackers on SharePoint, ensuring accuracy and version control.

  • Analyze financial and operational trends, identify variances, and provide recommendations to business partners.

  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives by providing financial data, analysis, and operational insights.

SHAREHOLDER

  • Execute financial governance activities including expense tracking, vendor spend monitoring, and headcount/position reconciliations across Workday, Clarity, and Excel.

  • Ensure compliance with enterprise controls, approval processes, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.

  • Maintain documentation, governance artifacts, and key operational materials within SharePoint for accessibility and transparency.

  • Assist in assessing risks, identifying issues, and preparing materials for escalations or remediation plans.

  • Support governance forums by preparing reporting decks, tracking actions, and ensuring accurate data inputs.

EMPLOYEE / TEAM

  • Contribute to a collaborative and high-quality work environment focused on accuracy, consistency, and operational excellence.

  • Share process knowledge, tools, templates, and reporting best practices to support alignment across the BOM team.

  • Participate in team discussions, working sessions, and knowledge-transfer activities to ensure consistency of business operations.

  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, automate reporting, and enhance productivity using Excel, Power BI, and enterprise systems.

BREADTH & DEPTH

  • Work independently on assigned financial and operational tasks, managing deliverables from end-to-end with strong attention to detail.

  • Apply specialized knowledge of financial tools and business management systems (Clarity, Workday, SharePoint, Excel, Power BI) to support planning and reporting processes.

  • Support complex, cross-functional initiatives by consolidating data, preparing analytics, and ensuring alignment across partners.

  • Provide sound analysis and documentation to support decisions, business cases, and operational planning activities.

  • Operate within short- to medium-term timelines, contributing directly to cyclical reporting, planning processes, and portfolio operations.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  • Undergraduate degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Progressive Accounting and Finance experience – 8 years +  

  • High level proficiency with Excel, Powerpoint, MS Office and Power BI Tools

  • Experience with financial forecasting and reporting and variance analysis

  • Workday and Clarity experience

  • Ability to operate in a matrixed organizational structure and across businesses

  • Ability to provide strategic vision and leadership
