JLL empowers you to shape a brighter way.
Our people at JLL are shaping the future of real estate for a better world by combining world class services, advisory and technology for our clients. We are committed to hiring the best, most talented people and empowering them to thrive, grow meaningful careers and to find a place where they belong. Whether you’ve got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or you’re looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward.
Are you ready to shape how thousands of people work safely, every day, across one of the most diverse regions in EMEA? We're looking for an experienced EHS professional to lead health and safety compliance for our client's operations across Eastern and Southern Europe and Israel. You'll partner with site leaders, account teams and the client to build a strong safety culture, drive world-class EHS performance and keep environmental and ISO compliance on track across multiple facilities. It's a highly visible role with real influence — you'll report to our EMEA HSE Lead and work closely with the Account Regional EHS Lead and leadership team. If you thrive in a fast-paced, multi-market environment and love turning strong safety standards into everyday practice, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll do
- Design, roll out and maintain EHS programs — from contractor safety and hazardous energy control to chemical management and emergency procedures — that meet regulatory, client and company requirements.
- Build and sustain a Safety Management System that identifies, eliminates and controls hazards before they become incidents.
- Lead and support a team of safety and contract risk professionals, standardizing site-level programs so they consistently meet KPIs and legal obligations.
- Develop and deliver EHS training, ensuring every session is properly documented and compliant with regulatory and company standards.
- Run safety inspections, program audits and incident investigations, using root-cause analysis to shape practical, preventive recommendations.
- Drive ISO 14001 and 45001 implementation across multiple sites, guiding local teams through documentation, audits and certification.
- Monitor environmental performance — air emissions, water use, waste management and hazardous materials — and put in place strategies that reduce impact and support sustainable practice.
- Report regularly on EHS and compliance performance to account leadership and the client, keeping data accurate and insights actionable.
What we're looking for
- A confident communicator who can advise, influence and train stakeholders at every level, from site teams to senior leadership.
- Strong proven knowledge of the EHS regulatory landscape across Eastern and Southern Europe and Israel, and the ability to apply it practically across diverse markets.
- A collaborative mindset with the cultural awareness to work effectively across borders, languages and ways of working.
- The ability to get results through others without formal authority — building trust and accountability across teams you don't directly manage.
- A sharp eye for risk, paired with the analytical skills to turn audit findings and incident data into real improvements.
- Comfort managing ISO management systems and guiding sites through certification and ongoing compliance.
- Recognized professional EHS credentials and membership, reflecting a genuine passion for safety excellence.
- Confidence presenting to large groups and delivering engaging training, in person and remotely.
What you can expect from us
- Competitive rewards & benefits A permanent contract after your probationary period, private healthcare, a cafeteria benefits system, life insurance and an employee assistance program.
- Flexible work environment A hybrid working model that supports balance and flexibility.
- Career development & growth Robust development opportunities — 80% of our employees take part in structured programs, AI upskilling and professional training.
- Stability & recognition A 78% employee recommendation rate, and recognition for 18 consecutive years as one of the World's Most Ethical Companies.
- Inclusive & supportive culture A strong commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, backed by multiple employee resource groups and initiatives.
- Global perspective A truly international team — 60 nationalities and 40 languages — offering rich cultural exchange and collaboration every day.
