Accountabilities:
- Lead and support tax process improvement and automation initiatives, translating global tax strategies into scalable, technology-enabled workflows.
- Manage and maintain tax reporting and compliance systems, including ONESOURCE Tax Provision, ONESOURCE Income Tax, TBO, ITBO, and related platforms.
- Ensure tax systems remain aligned with changes in GAAP, statutory regulations, and tax law, including updates to entities and consolidated group structures.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI, Microsoft BI cubes, SSRS reports, and validation workbooks.
- Oversee data integrity processes including rollovers, validations, and reconciliation of prior-year balances across tax systems.
- Deliver global training and support to tax teams across regions, ensuring consistent understanding and adoption of new tools and processes.
- Support federal and state tax compliance and quarterly reporting through data processing, analysis, and system-driven workflows.
- Collaborate with tax leadership to implement automation solutions leveraging RPA, generative AI, and Microsoft Power Platform.
- Provide ongoing process documentation, system troubleshooting, and continuous improvement recommendations.
- 2+ years of experience in tax, tax technology, financial reporting, or process improvement roles within a corporate environment.
- Experience with SEC/GAAP tax provision preparation or review.
- Knowledge of corporate federal and state tax compliance processes.
- CPA certification required.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced modeling and data analysis.
- Experience working with tax or financial systems such as ONESOURCE or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with automation tools including RPA, generative AI tools, or Microsoft Power Platform.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work with complex datasets and system-driven processes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and support global teams.
- SQL or Python skills are a plus, as is experience in insurance or financial services environments.
- Competitive salary range of $74,600 – $124,700 annually, based on experience and location.
