Job Title: Software Engineer II- Enrichment
Job Summary:
As a Software Engineer on the Enrichment team, this role works closely with fellow software engineers to design AI-powered systems that augment existing data and derive new insights from the data the platform already manages.
Essential Functions:
Design and maintain our AI-powered provider data enrichment engines
Architect new solutions that integrate with 3rd-party data sources to augment our internal data stores
Use AI-assisted development workflows to produce high-quality code and tests
Analyze, review, and provide constructive feedback for peer engineers’ technical solutions
Participate in vetting requirements, writing technical specs and documentation, and creating technical diagrams

Minimum Requirements:
Specific Job Skills:
Hands-on with Docker and cloud infrastructure (Either GCP or AWS preferred)
Understanding of basic networking fundamentals and security best practices
Past experience dealing with messy, real-world data at scale and have opinions about how to handle it
Past experience thinking about performance implications before they become problems
Past experience explaining complex technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders
Past exeperience writing code that other engineers can easily maintain
Education: Bachelor’s degree
Experience:
3+ years building production software with Python (strong OOP fundamentals)
3+ years with relational and NoSQL databases
3+ years collaborating with Git in team environments
Supervision: N/A
Certifications: N/A
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from a variety of both internal and external sources.
